For the LLRF Group within the High-Frequency Section we are looking for a

Radio Frequency Engineer (System responibility for LLRF in HIPA and Proscan)

Your tasks
You will coordinate the tasks for the developments and maintenance of the LLRF and RF-interlock systems for the high-intensity proton accelerator HIPA, and for the Proscan accelerator. You will also participate actively in the implementation of the systems. As a system administrator for LLRF and RF-Interlock, you are the contact person for functionality and performance of these systems, and for interfaces to other systems and other expert groups. With your active participation in the operation of the overall RF systems (LLRF, power amplifiers, cavities) you will learn the system overview and expertise which you will need for further improvements of the RF and LLRF systems.

Your profile
* Electrical engineer FH/ETH, BSc or MSc with some years of professional experience in the fields of radio frequency and/or feedback control
* Experience using modern simulation software
* Proficient in standard programming languages such as C/C++, Python or MATLAB
* Knowledge in design of analogue and digital electronic circuits
* Motivated and independant organization of work
* Competency in German and English
