Senior Development Chemist - Ireland
A world leading pharmaceutical company has aggressive plans to expand and has a number of exciting opportunities for a Senior Development Chemist to become part of an award winning Analytical Development team whose core focus is to develop and validate analytical methods used in the testing of drug products and raw materials.
You role as a Senior Development Chemist will be varied and challenging and will involve transferring methods you have designed to multiple sites and you will constantly be challenged to use your expertise to investigate new ways of developing analytical methods which are robust and technically feasible.
As a Senior Development Chemist you will be required to constantly use your initiative as you will be expected to plan your own day, work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, leading investigative teams and ensure that all work is completed within set deadlines.
The ideal candidate will be educated to PhD level in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent or to degree level. You must have extensive experience of developing and validating analytical methods for HPLC and GC. Ideally you will have a background of developing new analytical methods, but you will be considered if you have extensive experience within improving already existing methods.
